The
department of Sociology was established in the
year 1981 with the commencement of undergraduate
course. The faculty of the department consists
of three members and all of them are Ph D holders
and approved research guides of the University
of Kerala. The department has collaboration
with Helpage India and Directorate of Fisheries,
Trivandrum.
